Proposed as a reference for the promotion of the national network of pathways livestock, as support for territorial development, and is configured as a center of attraction for researchers and the public generally attracted to leisure activities.
Actually, the way livestock Center arises on a double slope, whose aspects are complementary: the ground floor houses the documentation Area, where a documentary background with historical archives on livestock paths of Extremadura is available (deslindes, litigation, ratings...) and library specializing in developing livestock, history of the Mesta and transhumance, loan service and consultation.

Upstairs is the Exhibition Area, with an itinerary composed of six rooms where alternating sensations experimentation and the collection of information through videos, interactive systems, panels and images. Can the visitor entering the characteristics of livestock paths as well as its uses and reflection on the future of this network of roads covering the law as public domain goods.
The Centre organises a full programme of activities, conferences, concerts, pageants, traveled by livestock tracks, guided visits, training activities, which can be consulted through the web page of the Center.
