The Natural Monument of Los Barruecos has a complete infrastructure to the public which distributes in three facilities located next to the mill pond, at the entrance of Los Barruecos.
Visitor reception center / Stork center
Installed next to the car park, performs services of information to the visitor about Los Barruecos and the network of protected natural spaces of Extremadura. It is equipped with, in addition, of information panels on the self-guided itineraries of Los Barruecos, and detailed information on the biodiversity of the environment. In addition, enables an exhibition space devoted to the White Stork, its biology, the network of European towns of the stork - of which form part Malpartida, Cáceres - and the celebration of the week of the Stork since 1991, exhibiting the winning original photographs of international photographic competition organized within the programming of this week dedicated to the dissemination of environmental values.
Complete the CRV a room of audiovisual projections of different resources to disseminate the natural heritage of los Barruecos, Malpartida, Cáceres and Extremadura.

Water interpretation centre
Installed in an old flour mill, exhibits the own machinery installation, together with a full statement of the importance, uses and needs of the water, one of the major players in the landscape of Los Barruecos along with the landscape, the flora and the fauna.
Center of interpretation of the Natural Monument
It contains an exhibition space where through models, panels and interactive showcases reproductions shows the origin of the rock formations that make up the spectacular scenery of Los Barruecos and its forms of modeling, as well as Zoological and vegetable biodiversity of whose undisputed protagonist, the White Stork, can see reproductions at the level of their nests and habitats.
Full exposure the replica of one of the Rocky shelters most significant of Los Barruecos, where some of his paintings are reproduced testimony of man passing through these places from more than five thousand years.
We will finally have the opportunity to observe in real time the white stork colony and the landscape of Los Barruecos through a monitor installed in the Centre. Observation is live and their offspring, one of the attractions of the Centre, calling in a unique manner the expectations of users.
