Event organized in order to enhance the sausage of the patatera during the celebration of Carnival.
Prior to the conclusion of 'The loss of the Patatera' celebrated the Tuesday of Carnival, the City Council of Malpartida de Cáceres organizes a 'gastronomic weeks' where a professional contest of tapas made with this product, as well as a popular tapas made with patatera competition is held. EASTER GASTRONOMIC DAY
Held during Lent Roadshow are organized in order to boost the malpartidena cuisine. During a weekend, the restaurants and bars of the town offer a cover made with typical products of these dates; eggs, cod, fish, vegetables,... being a popular vote that determines what is 'Best cover of lent'.

ROUTE OF THE COVER
Initiative organized by the Cáceres Malpartida town hall which has a great success of participation, and always is celebrated on 8 September, day of Extremadura. For the sixth consecutive year, this gastronomic day ago hundreds of malpartidenos traverse the restaurants and bars of the town, trying to elaborate and exquisite tapas.
A professional jury determines the 'best cover' of the year. This gastronomic event ends with the awards ceremony in the Plaza Mayor on the same day.
Little by little, the 'route of the CAP' has become a great day of environment in the town, appreciating the arrival of visitors from surrounding towns and the capital of Cáceres, attracted by the offer of leisure Malpartida de Cáceres organizes during the day of the regional feast.
