The chapel which houses the image of the Virgen de la Soledad, beloved and venerated image in the town. Although on the lintel of the Hermitage is the inscription 'the founder of this Chapel it was Diego plane year 1812', it is believed this alludes to the reconstruction that took place to make the temple, and was completely destroyed by the passage of the war of independence in the town. Diego flat rebuilt the Hermitage; It is likewise believed that the old image was destroyed, and the current dates from this date.
During Lent, the Virgen de la Soledad is moved to the parish church to his Novena and subsequent procession on Thursday and Friday Saints. On Holy Saturday the Virgin returned to his Hermitage, surrounded by numerous devotees.
