The remains of this strong House are today gave its name to the College of Malpartida, Cáceres, because they are located in the vicinity of the College. In Malpartida de Cáceres are known as 'Arches of Santa Ana' because until the 1970s they were located near the Hermitage of the same name, original site of this Palace.
It is believed that they are the remains of the strong family Rivera and Espaderos.
